What to Expect

This Presentation Night is Thursday October 22nd from 6-9pm and for ages 35+. There will be 10 presentation spots available on a first sign up basis.

This event is focused on ages 35+. All backgrounds and preferences are welcomed. Ages 30+ are welcomed; event is aimed for 35+ particularly 40s, 50s, 60s.

Depending on how many attendees, will either be a grazing board of snack/dessert food

And yes, there will be GF/DF/Veg accounted for 

❋ How do we present?

It is recommended to present by PowerPoint, PDF, or Keynote. If you want to bring a poster, sing, or just talk about your friend that works too.

In order to have time for a social following presentations, the 10 presentations are limited to 3 slides and 5 minutes total.

In order to get a presentation spot, you need to get a ticket, show up, and ask to present. The slots are a first come, first serve basis.

Prepare for a 5 minute presentation or more informal interview. Will time cap based on number of presentations to fit the most we can reasonably. 

❋ How can I get presented?

Join for a social, fun night of presentations, and food included in your ticket. Great chance to put yourself out there in a fun social environment.

❋ What if I'm not being presented?

In order for us to plan food and such for the event, we do need you to get your ticket in advance.

Tickets are $10 per person

If you buy a ticket and cannot make it, you can email and transfer your ticket to a friend; but, due to nature of event there aren’t refunds available (we can’t return food). No Refunds.

Thursday October 22nd 6-9pm at Honolulu Beer Works

This is the Date My Friend for folks over the age of 30s. Geared towards ages 40s and 50s primarily. Taking place October 22nd at Honolulu Beer Works 6-9pm.

You can either opt to be interviewed or have a friend present you to the audience, first come first serve sign up on arrival with the 10 slots for presentations.

Ticket includes admission and light food. Note that this event is aimed for ages 35+. Tickets are non-refundable.
